In this second software release of 2025, MESPAS introduces a planned maintenance dashboard that provides clear insights into the current condition of machinery and equipment.
Maintenance jobs can be configured as relevant, the development of running hours monitored, and locations of units tracked in real time. Colour-coded status indicators ensure an instant and intuitive overview of all relevant products. These insights will be available both in the office and on the vessel to reduce misunderstandings.
New options for approvals
Various approval processes are available in the MESPAS mobile app and via computer access. The functionality of overhaul approvals has been expanded. Overhaul approvals can be required for all or only critical jobs.
New software languages
MESPAS is multi-language and with this version further languages have been added. The software now also supports French and Arabic. Each user can select the preferred language directly in the user profile.
Reliable on board stock quantities
The handling of remaining on board (ROB) quantities has been improved to ensure transparent stock levels right from the source. It can be defined, that crews must enter stock quantities before creating purchase requests. Incoming part deliveries will be recorded in stock automatically.
Single sign-on (SSO)
Our single sign-on (SSO) project simplifies user access management. If an organisation uses a central user administration system, it can be connected with MESPAS.
MESPAS updates are automated – the new version Komodo has been deployed within two hours to all MESPAS Office users. Within just a few days all software versions of hundreds of ships have been updated.
