New software version Milos

New software version Milos

MESPAS is delighted to inform about the successful launch of its new software version Milos. Within one week, several hundred vessels have automatically been updated and benefit from numerous new software features and enhancements.

MESPAS version Milos contains the following major software enhancements:

Transfer parts between vessels

The MESPAS Part Management feature previously allowed the movement of parts from one machinery to another on board the same vessel. Now, it is now possible to land parts from a vessel and transfer these to another vessel, providing greater flexibility in managing parts across multiple vessels.

Data management in the browser

As part of our user interface transition from Java Rich Client to the browser, we are pleased to announce the completion of Cockpit in this release. All IDM functions are now accessible in the browser under the menu item ‘Cockpit’. Since this update involves only the user interface (the back-end system remains unchanged), both technologies can be used in parallel.

 Mobile notifications

All notifications can now be pushed directly to your mobile MESPAS app, keeping you up to date wherever you are.

IMPA catalogue via API

MESPAS has partnered with IMPA, the International Maritime Purchasing Association, to integrate their popular catalogue directly into our system via API. This integration ensures that catalogue items remain up to date, display item pictures for easy identification, eliminate versioning issues, and maintain data consistency throughout a vessel’s or fleet’s lifetime.

QHSE improvements

The new Drill and Training views enable you to manage and oversee your recurring QHSE activities directly within the QHSE module. Additionally, improvements have been made for one-time activities: QHSE task types can now be defined and are displayed exclusively in the QHSE module. These updates are designed to provide your safety department with enhanced functionality and streamlined management tools.
